Job summary

Jan Zandbergen Group is seeking a Technical Services Assistant to join a close-knit team of technicians in our Veenendaal operations. You will support mechanical and electrical technicians, performing preventative maintenance and fault resolution on a variety of automated food-industry machinery.

Based at our state-of-the-art facility, you’ll work daytime hours (06:00–08:00) with on-call duties roughly every 4–5 weeks, contributing to reliable production and safe, food-grade operations.

Qualifications

• Technical training at MBO level provides a solid foundation for this role.
• Experience as a mechanic with hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Able to work as part of a team and contribute ideas.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a family-owned business.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic and preventative maintenance per plan and update it as a team.
• Resolve faults in electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems with food safety in mind.
• Adjust, configure and maintain control systems, including the cold store with automated order-picking.
• Ensure inspection and maintenance schedules for each machine to minimise disruptions.
