Paebbl, an industrial resilience company in Rotterdam, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive planning, coordination and delivery of cross-functional technical projects at the RDM site as Paebbl scales from demonstration plant to industrial operations.

You will work with engineering, process and operations leads on-site, translate changing priorities into clear plans, chase blockers, and deliver critical paths on time.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in technical project management in engineering-intensive environments.
• Strong technical fluency; able to discuss tradeoffs with engineers on the plant floor.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi-team projects on time in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day planning and execution of technical projects at the RDM site from scoping to delivery.
• Partner with Engineering, Process and Operations leads on-site to build realistic plans and de-risk critical paths.
• Run PMO-defined operating rhythms at the site level including project reviews, milestone tracking and RAID logs.
• Chase blockers directly and push for timely resolution.
• Prepare project status updates for PMO and site leadership with blunt, accurate reporting.

Technical Project Manager

Paebbl is an industrial resilience company turning captured CO₂ into carbon-storing building materials. We accelerate the natural process of CO₂ mineralisation — in which CO₂ reacts with minerals to form stable carbonates from thousands of years — to a matter of hours, producing a carbon-negative powder that can replace conventional, heavily emitting cementitious materials. Having switched on the world's first continuous CO₂ mineralisation demonstration plant, we are now scaling from startup execution into structured industrial operations. It is a fast-moving environment where pragmatism, ownership, and the ability to build things that work in the real world matter.

The Role:

As Technical Project Manager for Paebbl's Rotterdam (RDM) site, you will work within Paebbl's PMO, driving the planning, coordination and delivery of complex, cross-functional technical projects on the ground at RDM as we scale from demonstration plant to industrial operations. This is a hands‑on, execution‑first role .You will partner closely with technical leads on‑site to translate ever changing, fast‑moving priorities into clear plans, dependencies and accountable owners, and you will personally chase down whatever is blocking the critical path. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on urgency, and has a solutions driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive day‑to‑day planning and execution of technical projects at the RDM site, from scoping through delivery, at a pace that matches our production timelines.


• Partner with Engineering, Process and Operations leads on‑site to build realistic plans, identify dependencies and de‑risk critical paths in real time.


• Run PMO‑defined operating rhythms at the site level — project reviews, milestone tracking, RAID logs and escalation paths — and flag risks before they become delays.


• Chase down blockers directly, in person where needed, and drive them to resolution rather than waiting for someone else to unblock the team.


• Prepare project status updates for the PMO and site leadership, with a bias toward blunt, accurate reporting over polished narratives.


• Work within PMO tooling, templates and processes, and push for improvements when something is slowing the team down.


• Use AI and digital tools to move faster on tracking, reporting and cross‑team coordination

What We're Looking For:

• 5-8 years in technical project management, ideally within engineering‑intensive, industrial, hardware, or deep‑tech environments where deadlines were non‑negotiable.


• Strong technical fluency — comfortable engaging directly with engineers and process experts on technical tradeoffs and dependencies, on the plant floor if needed.


• A track record of delivering complex, multi‑team projects on time, in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments


• Strong analytical capabilities and comfort building structure from ambiguity, fast.


• Working knowledge of project management and productivity tooling (e.g. Notion, Jira, Microsoft Office, AI productivity tools).


• Strong tolerance for ambiguity, shifting priorities in a fast‑scaling industrial environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working inside a PMO function at a fast‑scaling industrial or hardware company.


• Climate tech, industrial technology, or process/manufacturing scale‑up experience.


• Experience working directly with site and executive leadership under tight production deadlines.
