The Technical Pattern and Fit Specialist is responsible for updating and developing block patterns and ensuring samples are accurately measured. This role will report directly to the Technical Production & Fit Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain fit protocol. Update & develop block patterns with ability to oversee pattern adjustments.
• Collaborate with Design & Product Development, offering technical solutions & recording what needs to be implemented on style level.
• Track samples from development to production focusing on technical & construction follow up.
• Ensure samples are accurately measured & that size specs are methodically updated.
• Ensure tech packs are updated with all technical information.
• Address pattern, construction & workmanship issues.
• Relay fit amendment comments to suppliers & factories.
• Ensure that all technical working manuals / platforms are readily updated.
• Clear understanding of production cycle timeline & a sense urgency regarding maintaining delivery dates.

The Profile

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with qualifications relevant to clothing technology.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Apparel quality & fit with knowledge of technical design, patternmaking & garment construction.
• Advantage would be bodywear experience.
• Experience and proven track within luxury/ contemporary brand.
• Computer literate (MS Office, CAD, Adobe Illustrator).
• Comprehensive understanding of production cycle timelines.
• Methodically organized.
• Able to work in a hectic environment, with deadlines.
• Planning skills.
• Team-player.
• Language fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
