Job summary

Uitzendbureau is seeking a Technical Operator for the Paperbags department. You will be responsible for your production line, keeping it running and solving issues to maintain production continuity.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a gross salary up to €4,000 per month, travel allowance, and a direct contract with our client. There are many learning and development opportunities and room to grow into more senior technical positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and optimize Paperbag production machines.
• Perform first and second line troubleshooting on mechanical and process issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled cleaning.
• Diagnose machine failures using structured problem solving and Root Cause Analysis if necessary.
• Prioritize maintenance activities while balancing production continuity, product quality and customer delivery.
• Coordinate with Operators, Supervisors and Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Provide structured technical handovers, including clear documentation of issues, actions taken and follow-up requirements.
• Train and coach Operators on machine operation, adjustments and troubleshooting techniques.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine performance, reliability and production efficiency.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely while maintaining a clean and organized production environment.
• Act as the technical knowledge holder for your production line and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Over de werkgever You will be working at the Paperbags department of one of Europe's most advanced and highly automated printing companies. The machinery at this department is a little less complex than some of the site's digital printing systems. However, because there is no OEM support for the equipment, your new department requires a high level of technical ownership. That means as a Technical Operator you are asked to think independently, assess problems and make well-considered decisions to maintain production continuity. A great responsibility, but your new employer trusts you and your colleagues will work together to keep customer deliveries on schedule!
