Job summary

Start People zoekt een Technisch Operator voor een productieomgeving in Nederland. Je bestuurt en bewaakt de productie lijn, behandelt storingen en voert kleine onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit. Je werkt in een 5-ploegendienst met 33,6 uur per week en komt stevig in aanraking met procesverbeteringen.

Het bedrijf biedt een stabiele werkomgeving met ontwikkelingskansen, inclusief reiskostenvergoeding en een goede pensioenregeling. Starten kan bij Cuijk of Heijen, afhankelijk van ervaring en achtergrond.

Qualifications

• Aantoonbare technische vaardigheden.

• Kennis van en ervaring met 5-ploegendienst (33,6 uur per week).
• Flexibel en proactief in een continu productie-omgeving.

Responsibilities

• Bedien en bewaak de productie lijn en besturingssystemen.
• Monitor productie, kwaliteit en veiligheid en handel bij storingen.
• Voer kleine reparaties uit en werk samen met onderhoudsmonteurs.
• Volg procedures en veiligheid, geef suggesties voor procesverbetering.
• Ondersteun en train collega op de werkvloer.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Technical Operator, you are responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation of your production line. During an intensive on‑job training period, supported by an internal coach, you will learn everything about the machines and production process. Over time, you will build the knowledge and confidence to operate the entire production line independently.

What you will do:

• Operate and monitor the production line and control systems.
• Monitor production, quality and safety and respond to process disruptions.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance and work with maintenance technicians on more complex issues.
• Follow procedures and safety regulations and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Support and train colleagues and new operators.
• Keep the workplace clean and safe and participate in the morning meeting.
• Contact technical specialists when problems cannot be solved independently.

• Demonstrable technical skills;
• At least an MBO level 3 diploma in a technical field or equivalent;
• You can work in 5‑shift system (33,6 hours a week);

• Good technical and analytical skills;
• A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to take initiative when necessary;
• Strong communication skills and a results‑oriented mindset;The ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• You have your own accommodation and transport;
• A good command of the English language and if you speak some Dutch that would be a big plus.

Over het bedrijf

You will work at a production facility in Cuijk or Heijen, where various types of paper are recycled, manufactured and processed for customers in the Netherlands and abroad. Within the converting department, a wide range of paper products is produced, including napkins, paper towels and toilet paper. Another factory within the organization produces incontinence products and wet wipes. Depending on your experience, you will start at the location that best matches your background.

The organization will determine which factory you will start in. The products are supplied to, among others, major fast‑food chains, hospitals and amusement parks and are well known under the TORK brand. Safety is a top priority within the organization. A safe and pleasant working environment is considered essential, which is why there is a strong focus on good working conditions. You will work in an environment where technology is continuously evolving.

The work location is easily accessible with your own transport from cities such as Nijmegen, Venray or Boxmeer and even from the German border area such as Kleve and Goch.
