Langman Ropes in the Netherlands seeks a technical operator to produce rope, set up machines for the correct production process, and spool materials for the braiding department.
You'll work with automated lines, test equipment to check strength and elongation, and contribute to process improvements. The family business offers internal training and a good salary under the textile collective agreement, with the potential for a permanent contract.
Residence near Nijkerk or nearby is valued.
As a technical operator, you are responsible for producing rope, setting up the machines for the correct production process.
You'll produce semi-finished products, twist yarns, and spool them for the braiding department. Our modern braiding machines will turn yarns into ropes and lines. In another department, we also coat and stretch lines made from high-quality materials. This is a fully automated process, but it must be configured correctly.
You'll also work with an advanced test bench to test the rope's breaking strength and elongation. Based on the test results, you'll determine whether there are opportunities to optimize the machine settings for improved performance.
You are also responsible for resolving minor malfunctions in the machines, so that the production process continues to run efficiently.
What we expect from you is that you have technical insight and are able to set up and adjust machines properly.
We also expect you to be able to work well both as part of a team and independently, depending on the situation. It's important that you can work accurately and neatly, ensuring everything is carried out according to the required standards.
We also value your proactive approach, actively contributing to process improvement and optimization. A positive work ethic is essential, as it contributes to a positive working atmosphere.
Finally, we would appreciate it if you live in Nijkerk or the immediate area.
Langman is a family business where an informal and collaborative work environment is highly valued. You'll receive internal training and have the opportunity to perform a wide variety of tasks.
Naturally, this includes a good salary, in accordance with the collective labor agreement for the textile industry. With good performance, you also have the opportunity for a permanent contract.
