Job summary

Langman Rope Factory in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on employee for our splicing department. You will learn a unique craft while working on ropes, nets, and other rope products for clients at home and abroad.

No rope experience is required as we train you, and you’ll gain skills in shaping, finishing, and assembling bespoke items for diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• It is not required to have rope-specific experience; training will be provided.
• You should enjoy hands-on work and be able to learn a craft with care.
• You are motivated, accurate, and quality-focused.
• You can work well independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Splice ropes and create loops and eyes.
• Manufacture climbing nets and playground nets.
• Finish climbing ropes for schools, sports halls, and gymnasiums.
• Produce mooring lines and other rope products for water sports.
• Process and finish various rope types and materials.
• Assemble custom products for clients from different sectors.

At Langman Rope Factory Every day, we create custom rope products for clients at home and abroad. From climbing ropes and climbing nets for playgrounds to luxury mooring lines for superyachts. From rope structures for sports halls to stylish rope railings ordered by private individuals via Touwbestellen.nl.

Not assembly line work, but craftsmanship. Every product is different and is made with care and skill.

What are you going to do?

As an employee in our splicing department, you will work with experienced colleagues on a variety of rope projects. You will learn a unique trade where craftsmanship, technical insight, and quality come together.

Your duties will include:

• Splicing ropes and making loops and eyes.
• The manufacture of climbing nets and playground equipment nets.
• Finishing climbing ropes for schools, sports halls, and gymnasiums.
• Manufacturing mooring lines and other rope products for water sports.
• Processing and finishing various types of rope and materials.
• Assembling custom products for clients from various sectors.

No two days are the same. One day you work on a climbing net for a playground, and the next on a luxury rope structure for a yacht or interior project.

What are you bringing?

Experience with rope is not necessary. We are happy to teach you the trade.
