Job summary

Huxley is seeking an experienced Specialist Technical Support professional to troubleshoot electrical, mechatronic, and control system issues remotely and support customers worldwide on advanced food processing equipment.

You will analyse root causes, act as the main contact during incidents, and assist Field Service Engineers and global teams, with occasional on-site visits and case management in ServiceMax.

Qualifications

• MBO+ or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Several years of experience in Field Service, Commissioning, Technical Support, or Industrial Automation.
• Experience with PLC/control systems such as Siemens and Beckhoff.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Specialist Technical Support Help desk, you'll be the technical expert customers rely on when challenges arise.

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechatronic, and control system issues remotely
• Support customers worldwide with advanced food processing equipment
• Analyse root causes and provide effective solutions or workarounds
• Act as the main point of contact during technical incidents
• Support Field Service Engineers and technical teams globally
• Register and manage cases within ServiceMax
• Occasionally visit customer locations and support new installations
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• MBO+ or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field
• Several years of experience in Field Service, Commissioning, Technical Support, or Industrial Automation
• Experience with PLC/control systems such as Siemens and/or Beckhoff
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and pneumatics is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Fluent Dutch and good English communication skills (German is a nice plus!)
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 shift rotation
• Living within approximately 50 km of Lichtenvoorde
