Job summary

Rituals in Amsterdam is seeking a Tech Lead App (React Native) to shape the technical direction of our mobile apps across iOS and Android, delivering a scalable, high-performing foundation within our digital ecosystem. You will connect product ambitions with robust mobile engineering, mentor developers, review designs, and guide implementation while remaining hands-on in the codebase.

This role emphasizes leadership from code and architecture, not just planning.

Qualifications

6+ years of software engineering experience with strong React Native expertise.
Deep understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and performance.
Experience shipping and maintaining production apps on App Store and Google Play.
Solid knowledge of TypeScript and modern React patterns.
Familiarity with native bridging (Swift/Kotlin/Java) and release workflows.
Experience with mobile CI/CD, crash monitoring, and analytics.

Responsibilities

Own and guide the technical direction of the React Native applications.
Make architectural decisions around navigation, state management, and native integrations.
Ensure consistent patterns, coding standards, and best practices across the mobile codebase.
Mentor developers and lead design reviews to enable shared ownership.
Collaborate with backend engineers to align APIs and data contracts.
