Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking an Associate to tackle complex business challenges with a technology-driven approach in Amsterdam or Brussels. Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, science or related field (advanced degrees advantageous).
• Several years' work experience in blue-chip or startup environments across pharma, financial services, high tech, engineering or related sectors.
• Experience in technology/IT strategy with capabilities in digital strategy, IT infrastructure & architecture, IoT, AI/ML, cloud, big data and analytics, cyber security.
• Combination of strategic and analytical thinking with a passion for technology.
• Proven leadership in work or extracurricular activities.
• Fluent level English and local language skills (Amsterdam: Dutch; Brussels: Dutch or French).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with C-suite executives and senior managers to problem-solve on key issues and provide actionable recommendations leveraging technology and business sense.
• Play an active role in all aspects of client projects, typically in teams of 3–5 consultants, including presenting results to client management on select projects.
• Develop hypotheses, gather and analyze information, and communicate recommendations effectively for client presentations.
• Receive mentorship and training through a structured development program as part of the McKinsey Tech & AI team.
