Qualifications

• Formação HBO em Logística, Cadeia de Suprimentos ou similar.
• Experiência com stock control e análise de tendências.
• Forte capacidade de aprender rapidamente sistemas (WMS).
• Habilidade analítica para root cause e soluções sustentáveis.
• Capacidade de liderar e motivar equipas pequenas.
• Fluência em inglês; holandês é desejável.

Responsibilities

• Liderar e desenvolver uma equipa de 5–6 Stock Controllers e System Engineers.
• Assegurar alta precisão de stock analisando tendências, movimentos e discrepâncias.
• Conduzir analise de causas raiz e implementar ações corretivas.
• Supervisionar engenheiros de WMS garantindo processos eficientes.
• Colaborar com operações de armazém para resolver pontos de dor.
• Apoiar a equipa durante picos de trabalho e desafios operacionais.
• Conduzir iniciativas de melhoria contínua e roadmap do departamento.
• Promover uma cultura de equipa motivada e focada em melhoria.
• Comunicar de forma clara e construtiva, incluindo conversas difíceis.

As a Team Leader Business Support at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage the Stock Control and System Engineering teams to safeguard inventory accuracy, ensure reliable WMS performance, and drive continuous improvements across the warehouse. How you create impact

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–6 Stock Controllers and System Engineers.
• Ensure high stock accuracy by analysing trends, movements, discrepancies, and adjustments.
• Drive root cause analysis for issues and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee and support WMS engineers, ensuring processes run smoothly.
• Maintain close collaboration with warehouse operations and understand process pain points.
• Step in to support your team during peak workloads or operational challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage the roadmap for your department.
• Foster a motivated, energetic, and improvement-focused team culture.
• Communicate clearly and constructively, including handling difficult conversations when required.

What we would like you to bring

• Ideally an HBO degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent experience in a logistics/warehouse environment.
• Preferred experience in stock control, including stock accuracy, discrepancies, stock movements, and trend recognition.
• Quick learner who easily understands and adapts to systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to perform root cause analysis and define effective and sustainable solutions.
• Affinity with logistics and warehouse operations and understanding of operational processes.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a small team.
• Comfortable having direct, constructive, and solution-focused conversations.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the drive to help develop and strengthen the department.
• English fluency required; Dutch preferred.
