Job summary

Enza Zaden in Luttelgeest seeks a Team Lead Seed Production to manage a crop care team and oversee daily operations of our greenhouse, focusing on peppers or tomatoes.

You will lead and develop staff, coordinate daily planning, monitor quality, ensure safety, and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to optimize cultivation.

The role requires at least 3 years in crop cultivation or people management, English proficiency, and hands-on leadership in a greenhouse setting; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in crop cultivation and/or people management.
• Affinity with horticulture and vegetable production in a greenhouse environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to translate data into practical improvements; English as working language; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of crop care employees and seasonal workers.
• Share responsibility for cultivation of peppers or tomatoes.
• Prepare and follow up on daily operational planning at the greenhouse site.
• Perform quality checks and report progress.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Contribute to a safe, healthy, and positive work environment.
