Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Crop Worker to support our greenhouse operations in Luttelgeest. You will care for, monitor, and protect vegetable crops across cultivation stages, ensuring healthy crops and reliable production results.

You will work with Production Specialists and Crops Workers in a modern greenhouse environment. Your role emphasizes attention to detail, practical problem-solving, and collaboration across teams to maintain high standards in breeding programs.

Qualifications

• Affinity with the agricultural sector, horticulture, or crop care.
• Experience with, or an interest in, crop cultivation and care.
• Forklift certificate and crop protection license, or willingness to obtain these.
• Precise and careful approach to work.
• Good communication in Dutch or English.
• Willingness to occasionally work Saturdays or extend hours on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Planting, caring for, pollinating, and harvesting vegetable crops in the greenhouse complex.
• Identifying and reporting crop abnormalities and observations.
• Carrying out crop protection activities per guidelines.
• Supporting quality control and monitoring crop health.
• Preparing greenhouses for new cultivation cycles after harvest.
• Contributing to a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
