Job summary

MegaGroup Trade Holding is seeking a hands-on Team Lead IT Operations to guide day-to-day IT operations across our international organization with 10+ locations in Europe. The role combines leadership, architecture awareness and practical execution to deliver reliable services and strategic IT progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years IT experience including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing IT operations in an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID and Defender.
• Knowledge of VMware, networking, cloud platforms, enterprise applications and system integration.
• Awareness of cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, IT governance and business continuity.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop technical professionals.
• Fluent English; Dutch a plus.

As part of MegaGroup, our IT department supports an international organization with 10+ locations across Europe. We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead IT Operations who can bring structure, reliability, technical direction, and people leadership to our growing IT environment. Being a Team Lead IT Operations at MegaGroup means leading the day-to-day IT operation while keeping a clear architectural overview of our technology landscape. You coach and develop IT professionals, ensure reliable IT services, guide improvements across infrastructure, cloud, applications, security, and end-user computing, and support the CIO in translating IT strategy into practical execution.

• Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT operations across infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud environments, and end-user computing.

• Manage escalations and support timely resolution of critical incidents, keeping internal stakeholders well informed.

• Maintain a holistic view of the IT landscape and help ensure technical solutions align with enterprise architecture principles.

• Support the CIO in defining and executing the IT roadmap, balancing daily operational needs with long-term strategic objectives.

• Lead and contribute to IT projects, transformation initiatives, technology improvements, and successful adoption of new processes.

• Strengthen cybersecurity, governance, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.

• Manage priorities, vendors, resources, and stakeholder expectations in a pragmatic and professional way.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Management, or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical role.

• Experience managing IT operations in a medium-sized or international organization.

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID, and Defender.

• Good understanding of VMware, infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and system integration.

• Awareness of cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, IT governance, and business continuity principles.

• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop technical professionals.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

• A practical, hands-on mindset combined with strategic thinking and sound prioritization skills.

• Fluent communication skills in English. If you speak Dutch as well, its a great plus!
