Job summary

Omoda & Jaecoo Nederland is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Assistant to join our finance team in Amsterdam. You will coordinate daily tax filings, prepare monthly tax reports, and act as a liaison between headquarters and external tax advisors.

The role supports tax compliance across our European operations, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. You will work closely with the EU tax manager and internal stakeholders to strengthen tax processes and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Experience in tax-related activities preferred.
• Knowledge of VAT principles and tax reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily tax filing tasks and work with external tax advisory firms to ensure timely submissions.
• Prepare and issue monthly tax reports, ensuring data completeness and timeliness.
• Conduct daily tax reviews of invoices, identify tax discrepancies, and assist in resolving issues; report to EU tax manager.
• Assist in organizing and delivering basic tax operation training to enhance internal tax compliance awareness.
• Liaise with headquarters and compile and submit tax-related materials as required.
