TNO in The Hague is seeking a Systems Engineer for Collaborative Autonomous Systems. You will steer software-intensive projects, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute hands-on by implementing solutions. The role spans AI, sensor systems, and robotics within a Defence context.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment with a focus on system concepts, documentation, and customer liaison, benefiting from a strong research-to-implementation pipeline.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in development and evaluation of complex systems.
• Ability to translate customer needs into feasible software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities with the Project Manager.
• Develop and test software systems for collaborative autonomous platforms.
• Ensure integration and validation plans and supervise experiments.
