Overview
Join our team to design and engineer Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS), including DCS, ESD, and Fire & Gas systems, across offshore and onshore oil & gas projects. You will develop ICSS architecture, Cause & Effect diagrams, interlock logic, and perform functional safety verification (HAZOP, SIL, TÜV-certified), ensuring technically compliant, safe, and reliable system delivery in line with international standards
Responsibilities
- Review client requirements and technical specifications to define the ICSS scope, system architecture, and design basis for control and safety systems.
- Develop detailed ICSS designs, including Hierarchical Shutdown Level Diagrams, Cause & Effect Matrices, Control & Safeguarding Philosophies, and Fire & Gas detection layouts, ensuring technically robust and compliant solutions.
- Lead and participate in functional safety activities (HAZOP, SIL assessments, and verification) to maintain the integrity of ESD, PSD, and F&G systems throughout design, testing, and commissioning.
- Manage ICSS technical package execution, including vendor technical evaluation, RFQ support, system integration and interface management, FAT/SAT participation, and verification of compliance with regulatory, classification, and client requirements.
Job Requirements
- MSc or BSc degree (Technical University / Higher Technical Education) in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience with advanced ICSS systems in the Oil & Gas industry
- Familiar with control and safety systems; Yokogawa, ABB, Honeywell, Emerson, exSILentia and Siemens PLC integration tools.
- Knowledge of international offshore codes, standards, regulations and practices ISA, IEC, ISO, NFPA, API, and NORSOK.)
- Experience with offshore ICSS systems is a MUST
