Job summary

RAITH Group in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on engineer to join our world‑leading nanofabrication team. You will assemble submodules into lithography systems (EBPG), perform mechanical and electrical alignment, and install software per drawings and work instructions.

You will conduct functional tests, support the service team with customer escalations, report progress and deviations, provide training later, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring Health and Safety.

Qualifications

• MBO+ level education with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with assembly, production processes and cleanroom/contamination control.
• Hands-on approach.
• Knowledge of lithography and electron optics is a plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble submodules into lithography systems (EBPG) following drawings and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical and electrical alignment, wiring and software installation.
• Conduct functional tests (mechanical, electrical, vacuum, communication) and resolve deviations.
• Support the Service department with complex customer escalations.
• Report progress, deviations and propose improvements.
• Provide training to the service team after gaining enough experience.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and ensure compliance with Health and Safety
