Job summary

RAITH Group in Eindhoven is seeking a motivated senior Project Manager to lead complex development programs in high-tech maskless nanofabrication systems. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Production, Service and Applications to deliver on time, within budget and with high quality.

You bring 3–5 years of PM in semiconductor or capital equipment, strong process knowledge, and a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • MSc or BSc in Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years in semiconductor or capital equipment manufacturing in PM/engineering roles.
  • Proven experience leading complex multidisciplinary development projects in high-tech environments.
  • Strong understanding of development processes, system integration, prototyping, industrialization, and release readiness.
  • Experience with product development frameworks such as PGP, NPD, PLC, and stage-gate processes.
  • PMI PMP or PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.
  • Able to work with technical experts while keeping clear goals and decisions.
  • Experience with budget, resource and milestone management, risk management and stakeholder reporting.
  • Willingness to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Pragmatic, structured, and ownership‑driven mindset.
  • Clear cross‑disciplinary communication; English required; Dutch/German a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Independent planning, management, and execution of complex development projects from concept to market launch.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Production, Service, and Applications.
  • Ensure project objectives regarding schedule, budget, quality, and resources are met.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Manage collaboration with external partners, suppliers, and customers.
  • Support portfolio management through resource planning, prioritization, and transparent reporting.
  • Facilitate industrialization of new products and smooth transitions into production and service operations.
  • Drive industrialization and seamless deployment of new products into production and service.

Your mission
  • Independent planning, management, and execution of complex development projects from concept phase through to market launch.

Your Qualifications
  • MSc or BSc in Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of semiconductor or capital equipment manufacturing industry experience in project management, engineering management, systems engineering, product development, or a closely related domain.
  • Proven experience leading complex multidisciplinary development projects in high-tech equipment, precision systems, lithography, semiconductor, optical, mechatronic, or automation environments.
  • Strong understanding of development processes, v-/w-type system integration, prototype maturation, industrialization, and release readiness.
  • Experienced in product development frameworks such as PGP, NPD, PLC, and stage-gate processes.
  • Having PMI PMP or PRINCE2 certifications is a big plus.
  • Able to work with technical experts while keeping project goals, trade-offs, and decisions clear.
  • Experience with budget, resource and capacity planning, milestone management, risk management, change control, action tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Willing and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Pragmatic, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Able to communicate clearly across disciplines and organizational levels.
  • Fluency in English is a must; Dutch and/or German is a plus.
