Job summary

ASML Holding in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, seeks a System Build Quality Inspector to decide if products meet quality standards before moving to the next step in manufacturing.

You operate as an independent quality representative on the shopfloor, inspecting during build, identifying defects, and ensuring decisions are based on specs and standards rather than production pressure. Shift-based, with weekend rotation, relocation support offered for international hires.

Qualifications

• MBO-level technical education or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, quality inspection, or a similar technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Experience making technical judgments based on procedures, standards and product requirements.
• A structured and detail-oriented way of working.
• Confidence to challenge, question and elevate when quality requirements are not met.
• Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products, modules and systems during and after assembly.
• Determine whether products meet quality and release criteria.
• Identify, document and communicate defects, deviations and quality risks.
• Verify repairs and rework before products are released.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring defects and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and operational standards.
