Job summary

Hunkemöller is seeking a hands-on Technical Product Developer to drive product development from concept through production in swimwear and beachwear. You will ensure fit, quality and performance while translating designs into technical specs and coordinating with suppliers.

You'll conduct fit sessions, assess construction, record accurate comments, and support QA and testing in line with EU requirements. English proficiency and PLM knowledge are essential for collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor/Master/HBO in contour fashion and/or clothing and quality control.
1–2 years' experience in a similar function.
Good knowledge of English (spoken & written).
Knowledge of MS-Office.
Knowledge of PLM systems.

Responsibilities

Product Development: Contribute to strategy meetings and translate concepts into technical information.
Sampling, Fitting & Product Review: Conduct fit sessions and refine product with suppliers.
Quality: Ensure quality standards and conduct wear testing where needed.
Testing: Review base and bulk test reports and ensure compliance with standards.
Critical path: Manage timelines with buyers and suppliers to ensure samples on plan.
Supplier communication: Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure briefs translate into samples.
