Job summary

Tusk Talent collaborates with a fast-growing international Testing, Inspection & Certification organisation to expand its Sustainable Energy auditing team in the Netherlands. The role covers ISCC and NTA 8080 audits across biofuels, biomass, hydrogen and sustainable feedstocks.

You will prepare audit plans, conduct client-site audits and report findings, averaging 2–3 audits per week in the Netherlands with occasional travel elsewhere in Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISCC or NTA 8080 sustainability schemes.
• Knowledge of biofuels, biomass and sustainability documentation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct audits across sustainable energy and materials supply chains.
• Prepare audit plans, perform client-site audits and report findings.
• Carry out 2–3 audits per week within NL and Europe when required.
• Assess compliance against ISCC, NTA 8080 and related schemes.

Tusk Talent is partnering with a fast-growing international Testing, Inspection & Certification organisation looking to expand its Sustainable Energy auditing team in the Netherlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in ISCC, NTA 8080, biofuels, biomass, green electricity, green gas or sustainability compliance who wants to develop a long-term career within certification and auditing.

The Role

You will independently conduct audits and verifications across sustainable energy and materials supply chains, including:

• Biofuels & biomass
• Hydrogen
• Bio-based raw materials
• Sustainable feedstocks

You will assess organisations against relevant sustainability certification requirements, including ISCC and NTA 8080, reviewing areas such as traceability, mass balance, sustainability documentation, GHG information and compliance processes.

The position combines audit preparation, client-site auditing and reporting, with approximately 2–3 audits per week across the Netherlands and occasionally elsewhere in Europe.

You will gain exposure to everything from smaller renewable-energy operators to major international industrial and energy organisations.

Ideally, you will bring:

• HBO/Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, Technical Business Administration or a related discipline
• Knowledge of ISCC, NTA 8080 or comparable sustainability certification schemes would be highly advantageous
• Experience or strong affinity with renewable energy, sustainability and/or LCA/GHG calculations
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
• Ability to work independently and objectively with clients
• Fluent Dutch and English
• Driving licence
