Job summary

Cloetta is seeking a Sustainability Reporting lead to own CSRD compliance and ESRS reporting across the organization, coordinating data from Finance, Procurement, HR and Operations. You will drive audit readiness and evolve ESG governance and controls, shaping data processes, systems, and dashboards for executive management.

The role requires 3–5 years of sustainability reporting experience, fluent English, and a strong proactive mindset to ensure accurate, auditable disclosures across markets.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accountancy and Controlling with sustainability specialization.
• 3–5 years of relevant sustainability reporting experience.
• Knowledge of CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy and data governance.

What will you be contributing to?

You will lead CSRD and ESRS compliancy:

• You own the annual Sustainability Statement in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
• You own the Double Materiality Analysis (DMA) including its periodic review
• You coordinate and validate data collection across Finance, Procurement, HR and Operations
• You drive audit readiness and ensure assurance requirements are met in close cooperation with the external auditor
• You further develop the ESG governance and internal controls aligned with reporting standards

You will drive ESG data quality and reporting excellence

• You will further develop our ESG data processes, systems, and controls.
• You will improve automation and reporting efficiency.
• You will contribute in developing sustainability KPIs and dashboards for Executive Management and the Board.
• You will ensure a "single source of truth" for sustainability data across all markets and manufacturing sites.

You will lead the further development of the sustainability reporting tool and a potential future transition to a new sustainability reporting tool and be the functional owner of the tool

You will develop the sustainability reporting role and anticipate new regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

Competencies - What You’ll Need to Succeed

• You get energized of continuously improving the quality of internal and external sustainability reporting and are able to understand and apply sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations and translate them in business actions
• You are persistent in understanding the drivers of sustainability data and are able to collect and validate ESG data, establish reporting processes, design controls and ensure audit readiness to leverage financial reporting with sustainability reporting
• You enjoy working with international colleagues and across functions to align all stakeholders and realize consistent reliable internal and external disclosures

In addition, you fulfill these requirements:

• Completed bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Accountancy and Controlling with sustainability specialization, Sustainability Auditing, Finance and Accounting with ESG specialization or Sustainability Management
• At least 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in a sustainability reporting environment at a medium-sized company or accountancy firm, where experience in the food sector is seen as an advantage
• In-depth knowledge and experience with sustainability reporting legislation CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy
• Experience with assurance, internal control and data governance
• Experience with implementation of and functional ownership of sustainability reporting solutions
• Good communication and social skills, proactive, flexible, accurate, analytical, well organized and a high degree of independence
• Good command of the English language verbally and in writing
