Job summary

Philips Amsterdam offers a Sustainability Analyst internship (non-thesis) starting October 2026 for at least six months. The role includes 40h per week (min 32h) at Philips Amsterdam, with a focus on sustainability programs and governance across Nature, Circular Economy, Eco-design, and Climate.

You will conduct research on reporting standards, support performance management, and help develop training materials while contributing to reducing environmental footprint and enhancing biodiversity

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong affinity with sustainability and knowledge of the sector.
  • Structured, proactive and independent work style.
  • Analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Experience with AI and workflow automation (ChatGPT-Codex, Power Automate preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to ongoing global programs and cross-functional activities (Nature, Circular Economy, Eco-design, Climate and/or Sustainable Supply Chain).
  • Improve and automate sustainability processes, specifically related to performance management.
  • Research reporting standards and guidelines (biodiversity, water, pollution, product footprint).
  • Prepare the external report on Philips interdependencies with nature (TNFD).
  • Maintain knowledge base and sustainability trainings for Philips employees.
  • Drive Nature-based Solutions and climate resilience in manufacturing sites.
