Background

The Supply Chain & Operations Consulting practice is part of Wipro’s Consulting organisation and covers business consulting and business transformation across the operational supply chain. Specific elements include:

• Supply chain: sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, logistics and distribution
• Portfolio: product development, product life-cycle management, portfolio segmentation
• Customer: order management, customer segmentation, customer pricing and profitability

Through innovative data-driven insights and rapid prototyping, the team enables clients to improve operations and associated business performance. Example results include:

• Reducing inventories and working capital across the value chain
• Reducing lead-times and lead-time variations
• Improving customer service level and fulfilment
• Reducing cost to serve
• Improving margin and profitability
• Increasing top-line revenue

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate profile includes:

• 10 years of visible impact senior-level Management Consulting experience across the operational value chain in several industries
• Proven track record of business consulting solution design and consulting asset application
• Proven track record of consulting sale and delivery leadership
• Highly innovative and impact-oriented thinking in both business operating model transformation and technology
• Deeply conversant with today’s technology disruptors such as GenAI and Agentic AI
• Results-driven team player able to inspire a highly diverse global team

The objectives of this role are business development and growth, while also requiring direct billable time on specific client engagements to ensure market intimacy and direct industry visibility.
