Job summary

Van den Bosch is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to translate analyses into actions, initiate improvement projects and deliver results from start to finish.

You will drive improvements in revenue, cash flow, margins and operational efficiency, collaborating closely with Operations, Procurement and Commercial teams while building strong customer relationships. An entrepreneurial, pragmatic approach helps implement plans in daily operations and keep KPIs on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to Persuade, connect, and guide stakeholders through change.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate challenges into practical solutions.
• Structured working style with focus on progress monitoring and execution.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus.

Job description

As a Supply Chain Engineer, you play a key role in improving the performance of our Liquid division. You are the one who translates analyses into actions, initiates improvement projects, and successfully delivers them from start to finish.

You take the lead in driving improvements in revenue, cash flow, margins, customer performance, and operational efficiency. Throughout this process, you collaborate closely with colleagues from Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams, while also building strong relationships with customers to align interests and foster collaboration.

With your entrepreneurial and pragmatic approach, you ensure that plans don't remain theoretical but are effectively implemented in daily operations. You monitor progress and report on key KPIs to keep everyone focused on achieving results.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Experience in a similar role within the transport sector is a plus;
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to persuade, connect, and guide stakeholders through change;
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex challenges into practical solutions and concrete actions;
• Structured working style, with strong focus on progress monitoring and effective execution;
• Good command of the English language; Dutch is a plus;
• Innovative, entrepreneurial, and results-driven.
