Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Manager Supply Chain Development to lead the AFH Pod in Europe. You will manage a small team, drive complex SCM projects, and collaborate with senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives across innovation, productivity, and network design.

The role emphasizes leadership, project execution, and continuous improvement within a high-performance environment, with a hybrid work model in Amsterdam and some remote days.

Qualifications

• EU Working Permit required.
• Bachelor or Master degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams in supply chain functions.
• Experience in both project management and operations.
• Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Solid experience managing indirect teams.
• Strong business acumen.
• English and preferably a third language.
• Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 2 project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and successful project execution.
• Lead and deliver high complexity projects and oversee the delivery of projects of direct reports (new product launches, CAPEX investments, cost savings initiatives, supply chain changes).
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Head of AFH, peers, BUs, and senior leadership, to gather input and drive alignment on priorities.
• Inform and update Growth LT and key stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and KPIs.
• Be the voice of Supply Chain in all AFH related topics and ensure projects are feasible and efficient.
• Identify opportunities to bring in other SC experts to provide additional support.
• Align team efforts with the overall AFH Pod strategy and organizational goals.
• Bring together SC, operations and manufacturing stakeholders to share knowledge and implement best practices.

About the position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Manager Supply Chain Development to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Manager SCD role sits within the European Supply Chain organization and the AFH (Away From-Home) Pod. You'll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of Innovation, Productivity, Network Design & Compliance project pipeline will be your primary responsibility. You're constantly looking for improvement activities within Europe.

In Brief, You Are Responsible For

• Team Management & resource planning: Lead and manage a team of 2 project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and successful project execution.
• Project management & Portfolio value: Lead and deliver high complexity projects and oversee the delivery of projects of direct reports. Projects include new product launches, CAPEX investments, cost savings initiatives and supply chain changes.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Head of AFH, peers, BUs, and senior leadership, to gather input, secure buy-in, and drive alignment on project priorities and objectives.
• Progress Reporting: Inform and update the Growth LT, and key stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Supply Chain Representation: Be the voice of Supply Chain in all AFH related topics and ensure all projects are feasible and efficient from a supply chain execution perspective.
• Expert Engagement: Identify opportunities to bring in other SC experts, such as those specializing in demand forecasting, supply management, or engineering, to provide additional support and expertise as needed.
• Strategy Alignment: Align team efforts with the overall AFH Pod strategy, ensuring that project initiatives contribute to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
• (SC) Collaboration: Bring together SC, operations and manufacturing stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and support for implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
