Are you a data‑driven supply chain professional at the start of your career and eager to learn in a collaborative environment? We are looking for a Junior Supply Chain Analyst to join our Consultancy & Solutions team in Maastricht.
In this role, you will work with large datasets, build reports and dashboards, and support data‑driven decision‑making across transportation, warehousing, and end‑to‑end supply chain operations. You will also be expected to contribute positively to the team through a proactive and resilient attitude, a practical can‑do mindset, and a willingness to collaborate closely with colleagues across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, analyze, and visualize supply chain data
- Produce clear, repeatable reports and KPI dashboards to support operational decisions
- Identify inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities across logistics processes
- Support optimization, cost analysis, and scenario modeling initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve performance issues
- Translate complex analyses into clear insights for non‑technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data mining, data cleaning, analysis, visualization, and reporting
- Solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes (transportation, warehousing, lead times, costs)
- Strong problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel including pivot tables, formulas, lookups

- Ability to consistently produce clear, well‑structured reports supporting repeatable analysis
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex analyses in a simple and structured way
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Resident of Maastricht or surrounding areas
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
- Working knowledge of data preparation and automation tools (Alteryx preferred)
- Experience building economic, scenario, or optimization models (e.g. cost comparisons, network optimization, trade‑off analyses)
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and KPIs
- Familiarity with large datasets from ERP, TMS, or WMS systems
- Experience (academic or internship) in supply chain analytics, logistics analytics, or operations research
- Interest in automation, continuous improvement, and advanced analytics techniques
