Job summary

Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Management Intern to gain hands-on leadership experience in a dynamic department of luxury hospitality.

You will learn how to lead people, manage operations, and ensure guests experience the highest standards of service. This internship offers international exposure, training, and opportunities within Marriott International.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Hospitality Management or related programme.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Can work mornings and evenings.
• Available for 5 to 10 months.

Responsibilities

• Support housekeeping leadership in daily operations.
• Coordinate room assignments and priorities.
• Conduct room inspections to meet quality standards.
• Respond to guest requests professionally.
• Assist with staffing planning and daily productivity.

As our Housekeeping Management Intern, you will gain hands-on leadership experience in one of the largest and most dynamic departments in the hotel. This is more than learning how housekeeping works. In this role you will:

• Support the Styling (Housekeeping)( leadership team in the daily operation.

• Coordinate room assignments and operational priorities.

• Conduct room inspections to ensure our quality standards are met.

• Respond to guest requests and help resolve concerns professionally.

• Assist with planning staffing levels and daily productivity.

• Work closely with Front Office, Engineering and other hotel departments.

• Coach and motivate room attendants while learning leadership skills.

We are looking for someone who is curious, willing to learn and shows enthusiasm for creating exceptional guest experience.

You:

• Currently studying Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related programme.

• Are able to communicate fluently in English, any other language is a plus!

• You have a great attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Can work various shifts (morning & evening).

• Are available for 5 to 10 months.
