MR MARVIS in Haarlem invites you to join as a Style Advisor, helping customers find their perfect (out)fit with a personal, warm approach during weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Interest in fashion and retail.
• Experience in service-oriented roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creating a great first impression by welcoming customers, informing them about our brand and store concept, and inspiring exploration.
• Advising customers on products, quality, heritage and size selection.
• Providing expert advice with confidence and pride, finding right sizes and offering styling tips.
• Going the extra mile to elevate the customer’s shopping experience – e.g. pinning trousers for tailoring or offering a coffee.
• Ensuring the store always looks its best – inside and out.

As a Style Advisor at MR MARVIS, you help customers find their perfect (out)fit. With your eye for detail and personal approach, you offer tailored styling advice while creating a warm, inspiring atmosphere that makes every visitor feel welcome and well taken care of. We are looking for someone to help out in our Haarlem store during the weekends.

What’s on a typical to-do list:

• Creating a great first impression by welcoming customers, engaging with them, informing them about our brand and store concept, and inspiring them to explore our collection;
• Advising customers on products, quality, heritage and size selection. You are knowledgeable and exude confidence;
• Providing expert advice with confidence and pride. This includes finding the right sizes for customers, and offering inspiring styling tips as a complimentary service.
• Going the extra mile to elevate the customer’s shopping experience — whether that’s pinning long trousers for tailoring or offering a coffee or refreshment.
• Ensuring the store always looks its best – inside and out.

Ask yourself, are you…

• Enthusiastic, energetic and commercially minded, as well as patient, flexible, and presentable?
• A good communicator who can genuinely listen to the customer?
• Customer oriented?
• Passionate about styling and not afraid to offer alternative products?
• Interested in Fashion and Retail and enthusiastic about MR MARVIS (experience in a service-oriented industry such as hospitality or retail is a plus)?
• Fluent in both Dutch and English?

What you'll get

• Salary: €17.74 - €19.78 gross per hour (age 21+), depending on years of relevant experience, in accordance with CAO Retail Non-Food. Includes 8% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days on a full-time basis (40h/week).
