Job summary

JoJoschool is a Dutch EdTech startup for secondary education. We are seeking a Web & Motion Designer to own the visual side of our brand across pages and videos, building pages in Framer and producing short product videos.

You will collaborate with design, marketing and developers, delivering sharp pages and motion to engage students, parents and schools, while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or samples of work required.
• Strong eye for design and brand consistency.
• Proficient with Framer or similar website builders.
• Ability to create motion and animations.
• Dutch fluency is required.

Responsibilities

• Build pages and landing pages in Framer, clean and quick, while keeping an overview when a lot runs at once.
• Create animations, scroll effects and interactions that feel right.
• Keep the look of JoJoschool consistent and recognisable on every page.
• Make short product videos that show how JoJoschool works, from concept to edit.
• Deliver product videos and motion clips the social team can run with straight away.
• Design pitch decks and one‑pagers that convince schools.
• Create banners, posters and visuals for education fairs and events.

JoJoschool is a Dutch EdTech startup for secondary education aged 12 to 18 (middelbare school). We provide students with video lessons, exercises, summaries and our own AI study assistant, all built to make learning easier and more effective. We operate in a tough market and grow by working hard and smart. Learning sits at the heart of how we work, which makes this a strong place for students who want real hands‑on experience.

The role

As Web & Motion Designer you make sure JoJoschool looks as good as it works. You build our pages in Framer, bring them to life with animation, and make short product videos that show in one glance what we do. You own the visual side of our brand on the pages where students, parents and schools meet us first. Your work reaches hundreds of thousands of visitors.

You work closely with design, marketing and our developers. From single landing pages to full flows, you build them, make them sharp and ship fast.

What you do

Does this sound like you?

• You are strong in Framer or a similar website builder, or you pick it up fast.
• You have a sharp eye for design and know what makes a page work.
• You can build animation and motion that bring a site to life.
• You can build a lot of pages on your own without dropping quality.
• Editing product video is a nice plus, and Figma experience too.
• You have a portfolio or own work to show.
• You study at a university or college, or you paused your studies for now.
• You are self‑driven, curious, communicative and open to feedback.
• Outside exam weeks you have around 2 days per week (~16 hours) to work.
• You are 100% fluent in Dutch. Our students, parents and schools are Dutch, so this is a hard requirement.

• Hybrid work. We normally work from the office, but for this role we make an exception: set days at our office in central Utrecht to collaborate, the rest from home. Utrecht is a quick train ride from Delft.
