The University of Amsterdam invites applications for a student assistant to support two research projects at the Amsterdam Law School. You will log and code DSA private enforcement cases, draft case summaries, and help with GDPR case law analysis in a collaborative, small-team setting.

You will work 10 hours per week during 1 November 2026 to 30 June 2027, with a monthly salary of €3,230–€3,288 gross, plus 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% year-end bonus, under the Dutch Universities collective

Formación

Master's student in Law with strong legal background.
Strong interest in platform regulation and data protection.
Precise, systematic work, clear writing; comfortable with spreadsheets or databases.
Excellent English; able to read legal texts in another EU language (German, Dutch or French).

Responsabilidades

Identify, log and code new DSA private enforcement cases for the case tracker.
Write and review case summaries based on judgments and filings.
Update APPLIED GDPR case law analysis with recent developments.
Support comparison of the two fields for co-authored article and blog post.
Help maintain literature library and assist with organizing an online expert workshop.
