The University of Amsterdam seeks a student assistant for the DSA/GDPR research project in the Amsterdam Law School. You will help identify and log DSA private enforcement cases, draft case summaries, and update ongoing GDPR-related analyses.

The role supports collaboration across ACT and IViR and contributes to a co-authored academic article and a DSA Observatory blog post. You will work 10 hours per week under a temporary contract from 1 November 2026 to 30 June 2027, with a gross monthly

Formación

• Master's student in Law; solid legal background also welcome
• Strong interest in platform regulation, data protection, collective redress and access to justice
• Work precisely and systematically; write clearly and concisely; comfortable with spreadsheets or databases
• Excellent English; read legal texts in at least one other EU language (German, Dutch or French valued)
• Available for full contract period; flexible in consultation with the team

Responsabilidades

• Identify, log and code new DSA private enforcement cases for the tracker
• Write and review case summaries based on judgments and filings
• Update the APPLIED case law analysis with new developments
• Support comparison between fields for a co-authored academic article and blog post
• Maintain the literature library and assist with an online expert workshop
