Job summary

Iv-Groep b.v in the Netherlands seeks a structural engineering intern to join our multidisciplinary teams in Energy and Offshore, Infrastructure and Water, or Buildings. You will analyze and design complex steel structures and set up FEM models.

You will learn to translate loads into manufacturable designs meeting international standards, work with specialist software, and gain hands-on experience under guidance from senior engineers. An attractive internship allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural/Offshore Engineering.
• Strong foundation in strength of materials and statics.
• Interest in steel structures and complex loads.
• Experience with FEM software such as Ansys is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design complex steel structures.
• Set up FEM calculation models and run analyses.
• Translate loads into manufacturable, code-compliant designs.
