Job summary

ACL Partners in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Strategy Consultant/Manager to join its growing practice. You will lead complex strategy and due diligence engagements for corporate and private equity clients, translating data into actionable recommendations for senior executives.

You will mentor project teams, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to business development and proposal work. The role requires 5+ years in strategy consulting and an MBA is a plus.

Our client, a leading international strategy consultancy, is expanding its team in the Netherlands and looking to hire experienced strategy professionals. The firm advises major corporates and private equity investors on high-impact strategic questions, including growth strategy, market entry, commercial due diligence and value creation.

The Role

• Lead complex strategy and commercial due diligence engagements, overseeing key workstreams from initial analysis through to final recommendations.
• Direct market assessments, competitive analysis and financial and commercial modelling to identify growth opportunities, investment risks and value drivers.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior executives and investment professionals.
• Manage, mentor and develop project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and take ownership of key client discussions and presentations.
• Contribute to business development, proposal development and the continued growth of the firm's client base.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience in strategy consulting at an MBB, Tier 2 firm or specialist strategy boutique.
• Strong experience in commercial due diligence, growth strategy and/or private equity-related engagements.
• Excellent academic background; an MBA is considered an advantage.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into commercially sound recommendations.
• Proven experience managing project teams, coaching junior colleagues and engaging senior client stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
