Job summary

Acta Marine in Rotterdam is seeking a Tender Manager to develop a compelling value proposition from commercial and technical perspectives based on client ITTs. You will position Acta Marine strongly during negotiations and shape Acta Marine’s market stance while ensuring a robust lead pipeline.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 8+ years in offshore, with strong legal/documentation knowledge and English fluency. Hybrid work, generous salary, and career growth await the right candidate.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in engineering, business, or legal.
8+ years’ experience in a similar offshore role.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Solid understanding of legal and contractual documentation.
Experience in a maritime environment.
Analytical, structured, and results-oriented.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Prepare technical tenders in compliance with ITT and provide technical evaluation of tender documents.
Deliver comprehensive technical quotations from start to final proposal.
Prepare pricing, budgets and provide cost reports and forecasts for tenders and projects.
Prepare project financial and technical quotations and method statements.
Liaise with third parties and maintain relationships internally and externally.
Act as a Key Account manager with business development and engineered sales responsibility.
Conduct bid/no-bid reviews for tender boards.
Create internal documentation for stage gate reviews (risk matrices, cost overviews).
Present stage gate outcomes to Tender Board including Commercial Director and CEO.
