Job summary

Rabobank, a leading Dutch cooperative bank, seeks a Senior Tech Lead within the Tech4Engineering Consumer Interaction tribe. You will shape IT strategy, lead a multi-squad organization, and drive value through DevOps excellence, risk-aware delivery, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Located in the Netherlands, you will collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-impact financial technology solutions.

Qualifications

Senior Tech Lead on Tech4Engineering Management Team shaping IT strategy.
Strong expertise in software development, security and performance.
At least ten years in similar IT leadership roles.
Experience guiding DevOps teams toward autonomy and high performance.
Experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile, preferably Spotify S@S model.
Knowledge of offshore/nearshore development.
Proficiency in Dutch and English at a business level.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the IT delivery strategy for the Consumer Interaction area and co-create the IT vision in collaboration with the Tech4Engineering domain.
Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with political sensitivity across levels.
Enable service onboarding and MSS adoption, guiding teams through the Nexa Service Store process.
Drive operational transformation, improve work item management, and strengthen portfolio oversight.
Advance S@S/DevOps maturity and embed it in daily operations.
Oversee budgets, vendor/partner management, and contract negotiations.
Lead a transition to empowered, high-performing squads of around 40 people with continuous upskilling.
