Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Specialist for Europe and Africa regions to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with the business. The role is based in the Netherlands, with a focus on partnering with internal teams and suppliers to deliver value.

You will lead market analysis, RFx processes, negotiations, and contract awards while driving total cost of ownership improvements and risk mitigation. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in MRO/engineering/construction and shipping is a plus.
• Strong business acumen: balance customer needs with sourcing capacity.
• Excellent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including market analysis, supplier identification, RFx, evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
• Analyse spend data, cost drivers and TCO to identify optimisation, value creation and risk mitigation.
• Define supplier criteria, manage tender processes and robust evaluation and decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align scope, timelines, requirements and contracting strategy.
• Contribute to P&L impact and regional sourcing performance.
• Map key stakeholders and act as a business partner to drive sourcing initiatives.
