Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Specialist for the Europe Africa Region to develop and execute sourcing strategies and structured sourcing plans from our Nootdorp office. You will lead market analyses, supplier identification, RFx processes, evaluations and contract awards, while driving cost optimisation and value creation.

You will analyse spend data, define criteria, manage tenders, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align on scope, timelines and contracting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, contracting, category management or similar procurement role.
• Experience in MRO, engineering, construction or shipping industries preferred.
• Strong commercial insight with ability to negotiate terms and balance customer requirements with sourcing capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficient in spend analysis and applying Lean methodologies to improve processes.
• Strong English communication; Dutch language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including market analysis, supplier identification, RFx execution, evaluation and contract award.
• Analyse spend data, costs and total cost of ownership to identify optimisations and risk mitigation.
• Define supplier selection criteria, manage tenders and ensure robust evaluation and decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align scope, timelines, requirements and strategy.
• Contribute to P&L impact and regional sourcing performance.
• Map stakeholders and act as a business partner to drive sourcing initiatives.
