Job summary

NTS Eindhoven seeks a Procurement Manager to lead Mechatronics Assembly procurement, report to the Managing Director, and manage a team of 10 buyers. You’ll shape the local supplier base, drive supplier development, and ensure alignment with global strategy.

You will collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality to optimize delivery reliability, cost, and lead times. The role requires a HBO/WO background, 5+ years in high-tech procurement, and strong leadership in a multinational

Qualifications

• HBO/WO education in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years in procurement within a technical production environment.
• Proven leadership of procurement teams including strategic/tactical buyers and project buyers.
• Experience with supplier acquisition, performance management, and establishing procurement processes.
• Broad knowledge of strategic procurement, contract management, and supplier development; NEVI certification a plus.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop the procurement strategy and translate it into annual plans and concrete objectives.
• Lead the strategic/tactical buyers and project buyers and invest in their development.
• Manage the local supplier base from acquisition to supplier development and contracting.
• Track procurement KPIs (OTIF, quality, lead time, cost price) and drive improvements.
• Ensure procurement alignment with NPI projects from supplier selection to handover to production.
• Coordinate with Global Director Procurement and Category Managers to align group strategies with local execution.
• As MT member, oversee Mechatronics Assembly direction, budget, and staffing/training needs.
