Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Lead Procurement Specialist (Experienced Buyer) to manage supplier relationships, RFQs, and contract negotiations. The role focuses on delivering best value for goods and services while maintaining on-time delivery and cost controls.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years in oil, gas or energy tech procurement, with SAP or Oracle experience, and a strong track record in supplier collaboration and contract execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing/buying and procurement in energy/tech industries.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (technical background preferred).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; other languages a plus.
• Experience with contracts/templates and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Handle RFQs and solicit competitive supplier quotations.
• Place and follow up on Purchase Orders; manage supplier relationships for PO execution.
• Ensure on-time delivery of goods and services and monitor status.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier agreements and performance.
