Job summary

GS1 is seeking a Programme Lead, Regulatory-Driven Standards, to coordinate end-to-end governance of regulatory initiatives across Public Policy, Standards Delivery, Architecture and Community Engagement. You will manage interdependencies, drive prioritisation, and provide leadership visibility into programme status.

The role requires exceptional stakeholder engagement, governance experience, and the ability to influence outcomes in a matrixed organisation. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years’ experience in programme management of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Experience coordinating complex programmes across industry and regulatory environments.
• Ability to structure options and priorities for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end coordination of the Regulatory-Driven Standards Programme across cross-functional workstreams.
• Develop and maintain integrated programme plan with scope, milestones, timelines and dependencies.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee intake, assessment and prioritisation for regulatory-driven standards.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Public Policy, Standards Delivery, Architecture, Community Engagement and Project Delivery.
• Governance, reporting and decision support to senior leadership; ensure transparency and momentum.
