Job summary

B Lab is seeking a Director of Standards Solutions to lead a strategic vertical that scales adoption of its standards through certification, B Impact, and related products and services. The role focuses on commercial growth, operational excellence and maintaining standards integrity across the portfolio.

The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in certification, standards or compliance with strong leadership and customer-centric focus, driving efficiencies and strategic partnerships

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in certification, standards, assurance, compliance, SaaS, platform or sustainability-related services.
• Experience scaling operational delivery models while improving customer experience and financial performance.
• Commercial experience, including revenue growth, pricing, cost-to-serve or product adoption.
• Strong understanding of digital product environments and agile or product-led ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Define the Standards Solutions strategy and operating model.
• Establish metrics for certification volume, recertification, customer progression and satisfaction.
• Identify friction points in the certification journey and develop a roadmap for scalable adoption delivery.
• Partner with Growth, Product and Technology to define priority adjacent products and services.
• Own the commercial, operational and financial performance of the Standards Solutions vertical.
