Job summary

BDR Thermea Group is seeking a Category Buyer Indirect Spend to shape procurement strategy for a diverse set of indirect categories. You will work with stakeholders across the business and connect local priorities with an international procurement network.

You will lead sourcing, tender projects and category plans, negotiate contracts, and monitor savings and supplier performance. This role balances autonomy with collaboration across countries and functions in a sustainability-focused

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of working and thinking.
Several years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Experience working with a broad stakeholder network.
Analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
Ability to operate confidently in both Dutch and English.
Experience in indirect procurement or international organisations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies for assigned indirect spend categories.
Analyse supplier markets, identify opportunities and translate business needs into procurement solutions.
Lead sourcing and tender projects from strategy through implementation.
Build and execute category plans that support business objectives.
Partner with Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Operations and other functions to deliver effective solutions.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements with suppliers.
Monitor spend, savings and procurement performance.
Support international procurement initiatives and local implementation.
