Job summary

BDR Thermea Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Category Buyer Indirect Spend to own a diverse portfolio of indirect categories and shape sourcing strategies. You will lead cross-functional collaboration and drive value through informed supplier choices and category plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of working and thinking.
• Several years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience working with a broad stakeholder network.
• An analytical mindset combined with commercial awareness.
• The ability to operate confidently in both Dutch and English.
• Experience in indirect procurement or international organisations would be an advantage.

• Leading sourcing and tender projects from strategy through implementation.
• Building and executing category plans that support business objectives.
• Partnering with stakeholders in Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Operations and other functions to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Managing supplier relationships and driving continuous performance improvements.
• Identifying opportunities for supplier consolidation, standardisation and efficiency gains.
• Monitoring spend, savings and procurement performance.

Your decisions will influence costs, supplier performance, business continuity and sustainability across the organisation. **What you'll be doing**In this role, you are responsible for developing and executing category strategies for your assigned indirect spend categories.
