Job summary

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Artsen zonder Grenzen is seeking an Indirect Procurement Advisor for MSF OCA. The role focuses on developing a centralized procurement framework, improving controls, and ensuring value for money across fundraising, marketing, facilities, HR, travel, and other services.

You will collaborate with departments and MSF Global to align procurement with MSF standards, oversee vetting of legacy suppliers, and implement a centralized toolset for contract lifecycle and

Qualifications

• Education background in procurement, supply chain or business administration.
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management in an international organization.
• Experience with sourcing strategies, negotiation, stakeholder management, process improvements, contract management, change management and project management.
• Excellent communicator and stakeholder engager.
• Based in or willing to relocate to The Netherlands. Nice to have: Dutch NGO experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement expertise, guidance and day-to-day support to internal stakeholders across departments.
• Lead development and implementation of policies and processes for indirect procurement.
• Ensure proper vetting of suppliers according to MSF standards and due diligence.
• Manage Global Contract Lifecycle Management and E-Tendering Tool for MSF OCA indirect procurement.
