Job summary

pladis seeks a Head of Indirect Procurement Europe to lead indirect procurement for France and The Netherlands, reporting to the region's Procurement Director. Based at our Zaandam HQ, you will drive category strategies, supplier relationships and cross-functional collaboration to ensure continuity, cost optimization and sustainable sourcing.

You will build and lead regional teams, manage tenders, and align local actions with global strategies, delivering value across manufacturing sites, supply

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in indirect procurement, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders at senior level.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
• Experience leading procurement projects and teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage indirect procurement for France and the Netherlands.
• Develop local category strategies and supplier relationships.
• Drive cost-out, cash flow improvements and supply continuity.
• Collaborate with factories, supply chain, R&D and finance.
• Lead local tenders and implement procurement processes and tools.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives within indirect procurement.
• Coordinate with global teams to align regional and global strategies.
