Job summary

Green Teams Europe is seeking a Business / Financial Controller in Apeldoorn for 32–40 hours per week. You will act as hands-on sparring partner to the management board, covering financial and project control, accounting, and reporting.

You will coordinate payroll, month-end close, budgets and forecasts, ensure internal controls, and guide audits. Collaboration with finance administration, project teams, service, sales, HR and external advisers is key.

Qualifications

• Requires HBO/WO level in Finance or related field.
• Several years of experience as a financial or business controller, preferably in a project-driven organisation.
• Hands-on approach in administration and management discussions.
• Strong skills in project control: WIP, margins, and cost analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, rolling forecasts, liquidity planning.
• Knowledge of AO/IB and ERP/dashboards data.
• Independent and constructively critical with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial administration and ensure correct processing of key financial data.
• Coordinate and review payroll and pension administration.
• Organise month-, quarter-, and year-end closings and manage closing calendar.
• Prepare audits and guide annual accounts processes.
• Analyse revenue, costs, results and cash flows per operating company and project.
• Monitor cash, liquidity, working capital and financial commitments.
• Support financial controls, internal control, and IT/system governance.
