Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Clinical Forecasting Analyst in the Netherlands to drive clinical out-of-pocket forecasting and support budget creation for trials. You will work with management to develop forecasts, collect cost drivers, and present budgets to leadership, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across funding cycles.

The role requires 3+ years in the industry, with pharma or CRO exposure preferred, and strong Excel and analytic skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in industry with at least 2 years in drug development.
• Experience in clinical trial forecasting with pharma company or CRO preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; time management.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive functional forecasting efforts, provide analytics and training docs.
• Collect key cost drivers to develop trial budget forecasts.
• Generate high-level estimates with project teams for strategy reviews.
• Consolidate trial budget assumptions based on contracted values.
• Support governance meetings and present budgets to leadership.
• Provide financial leadership and budget support to TA/portfolio.
• Assist quarterly closes for clinical trial expenses and variances.
• Deliver process training and guidance for budget responsibility.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting processes and tools.
