Job summary

DSM-Firmenich is seeking a Senior Buyer Manufacturing & Laboratory (m/f/d) to lead indirect procurement across Opex and Capex at Maastricht and Delft sites. You will develop local and regional sourcing strategies, manage end-to-end sourcing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and drive savings, compliance, and P2P excellence while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement, Manufacturing or a technical business environment.
• Strong Dutch and English communication; ability to influence across levels.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
• Proven negotiation and commercial acumen with a drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key procurement partner for Manufacturing and Laboratory sites; ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and execute local and regional sourcing strategies for Indirect Manufacturing, Opex and Capex categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities: supplier selection, tendering, negotiations, contracting and supplier management.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships to support operational excellence and continuity.
• Drive compliance, P2P excellence and transparent savings reporting; improve procurement processes.
